MBD’s elegant and sophisticated clients envisioned a home that would feel comfortable and welcoming for their young twin daughters—without sacrificing refinement or style. The design carefully balances livability with timeless elegance.

A custom marble-topped “kids’” table was designed as a chic yet practical gathering spot, seamlessly integrated into the main living space. Positioned opposite a custom-designed sofa, featuring a tailored cut-out back cushion to accommodate the window sill, the arrangement feels both intentional and inviting. The sofa is flanked by a pair of vintage tables topped with sculptural Willy Daro lamps, adding character and collectible appeal.

Throughout the home, moments of whimsy were thoughtfully layered into the design. In the guest bedroom, bold blue walls and applied molding create a playful yet polished atmosphere. In the foyer, a custom high-gloss lacquer console introduces a vibrant statement, setting the tone for a home that is at once family-friendly and impeccably styled.

The result is a residence that gracefully bridges youthful energy and sophisticated design.
