This fully renovated residence, featured in NY Spaces Magazine, provided the perfect canvas for a series of thoughtful and creative design moments.

MBD designed a custom kitchen anchored by a built-in eat-in banquette, blending functionality with warmth. In the living room, bespoke millwork adds architectural interest while providing tailored storage solutions. Three custom bathrooms were meticulously designed with Waterworks fixtures and Studium marble tiles, creating refined, spa-like spaces throughout the home.

One of the most distinctive features is the mudroom, which houses a retro lime green Smeg refrigerator—primarily used to accommodate the family’s son’s food allergies. Both practical and playful, the unexpected pop of color adds personality to the space.

A dual-sided fireplace elegantly separates the casual family room from the more formal living room, allowing for visual connection while defining each area’s purpose. The result is a home that balances creativity, comfort, and sophisticated design
