The clients engaged MBD to create a serene pied-à-terre for their Hong Kong–based family of four. Designed as a calm and flexible retreat, the apartment balances functionality with understated elegance.

Custom metal doors were installed to enclose a bedroom for their son, a space thoughtfully designed to double as an office or den when needed. To emphasize the apartment’s soaring ceilings, MBD incorporated tall drapery panels that enhance the loft-like scale and draw the eye upward.

Along the rear hallway, custom millwork provides generous additional storage while also forming a cozy reading nook—an inviting architectural moment within this stunning Tribeca loft-inspired home.
